“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.”
A Contrite Spirit involves genuine brokenness, sorrow and acknowledgment of one’s sinfulness before a holy God.
A Contrite Spirit is the attitude God desires more than mere outward religious rituals or sacrifices.
“You do not delight in sacrifice…You do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.”
A contrite spirit recognizes one’s utter need for God’s mercy and forgiveness.
David pleads:
“Have mercy on me, O God…blot out my transgressions.”
A Contrite Spirit is characterized by humility, repentance, and a desire to turn from sin to obedience.
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
God promises not to “despise” or reject a truly contrite and repentant heart, but to forgive and restore the repentant sinner.
In essence, a contrite spirit represents the broken, humble, and repentant attitude that God desires and responds to with mercy, rather than empty religious performances.

Time: The fourth dimension created by God to separate and maintain matter, the containment ingredient needed to maintain form, something the ethereal domain would destroy without the distinction.
Time is the fire in which we burn
Time inexorably marches on, offering no respite for us to halt its progress or turn back the clock.
It serves as a constant force that shapes and molds our very existence, propelling us to adjust and grow.
Time has the power to be both an ally and an adversary.
It can provide the opportunity for growth, learning, and transformation, but it can also bring about challenges, setbacks, and moments of reflection.
Time has a way of magnifying our strengths and weaknesses, exposing us to our vulnerabilities and pushing us to confront our fears.
Time highlights the impermanence of life. It reminds us that nothing lasts forever and that each moment is precious and fleeting.
Time is a crucial element in the spiritual journey, serving as a tool for God to refine and purify his people.
Unlike the eternal spirit which remains unaffected by time as God Himself is outside of time and space, the physical flesh and material world are bound by the constraints of time.
Through the alchemical interaction of time and spirit, the process of sanctification is initiated, leading to the separation of the soul from the flesh.
This transformative process, ignited by the indwelling of the Spirit, highlights the importance of time as a purifying force in the journey towards spiritual growth and enlightenment.
The fusion of time and spirit represents a volatile yet necessary combination that ultimately serves to elevate and purify the individual, marking the beginning of a transformative journey towards a deeper connection with the divine.
Time Forges Souls
Time is the unrelenting forge where our souls are tested, separating the enduring essence from fleeting illusions.
Just as a blacksmith molds iron in fiery crucibles, time shapes our spirits with its transformative touch.
The eternal spirit remains untainted by these temporal flames, while the material world succumbs to its alchemical dance.
My Pessimistic View on Time:
Time, merely an additional dimension to confine us, serving as a reminder of our boundaries and unavoidable decline.
Time exists as a framework to tether us to this deteriorating world, ensnaring us in the ceaseless progression towards entropy and hindering our spirits from connecting to the Origin.
The grasp of time’s hold remains unyielding, as we utter words of falsehood to delude ourselves into believing we hold significance in this fruitless existence.
Through your consciences mind, is inner voice guiding you, and it’s accuracy to the truth, and ability to lead you in the right direction is intrinsically linked to your capacity for empathy. Our five senses are the sensors we use to collect information from the external world. So what allows us to relate to other people, connect with animals, embrace ideas, and absorb nature? It is empathy, a bridge that gives meaning to experience. The five senses act as antennas for experience, but empathy is the technology that enables emotional experience to be understood deeply within the internal world.
Empathy enables you to enter into a refined familiarity of the memories, emotions, and experiences with others through your senses communicating through shared insight and mutual compassion. Words are not necessary for this communication to be apparent.
Empathic people have the inclination towards doing mental exercises where they step into another’s shoes, imagining how the world feels from their perspective.
This practice not only enhances personal development but will stimulate empathy in those who are not as developed. Stepping into someone’s experience using imagination will diversify you viewpoint, the research is clear.
THE EMPATH’S PORTAL IS YOUR REPRESSED MEMORIES
Empaths are very much a seer, just not with the eyes, but rather the Heart. The heart is portal through which the channel leading into all unseen aspects of the other’s inner being exists.
The Heart as a “Sensor”
Rather than relying on visual cues, empaths use the spiritual heart, Hridaya, to perceive love and pain beyond physical appearances.
Some describe this as having “heart’s eyes” that see stories and souls instead of just features.
It starts with you.
By opening a portal to yourself, you build foundational trust… but it must become a daily habit. Once you trust yourself to handle your own heart with care, honoring her truth and allowing her vulnerability, you remain firmly rooted in the deep, innate love that hearts naturally hold.
Only then will you be prepared to carry that resonance into another.
When you merge with another, unveiled from the boundaries of division, your empathic heart will be overcome by experiences outside your own memory.
Through the transmission of the emotional body, you absorb their buried history into your physical and emotional frame.
It is a mirror resonance… reflecting on you what their heart felt when it first suppressed the pain. This will not be t restricted to the literal heart but can be any area.
By you feeling it, like a magnet drawing up iron, you draw out the stored trauma, fear, and all other emotional decay, bringing it to the surface. This is where healing can begin.
They’ve put an official clinic title to this fully organic experience: Empathic Exchange.
This is a deep, usually unconscious, synchronization that modern Science and psychology actually has many frameworks to conceptualize and solidify the realness of what I’m saying.
FRAMEWORKS IN SCIENCE & PSYCHOLOGY
BIOLOGICAL MIRRORING
This is the process where observing others’ actions and emotions automatically triggers the same neural networks in your own brain. Governed by your brain’s mirror neuron system, this mechanism you have within your mind allows you to internally simulate what you see, forming the biological foundation of empathy and social connection
These buried emotions often manifest as debilitating fears, self-doubt, and destructive patterns of behavior.
By accessing these hidden depths, we can begin to understand the other, finding motivations, giving us compassion and inspiration for healing.
Empathic Darkness
The Enemy Found In The Reflection
However, the portal of empathy can also lead us to darker places within another person’s psyche.
We may encounter memories of causing pain and suffering, triggering feelings of shame, guilt, and self-loathing.
These experiences can be overwhelming, but they offer a valuable opportunity for understanding the complexities of human nature and the potential for both good and evil.
Empathy is a Bridge
The Full Spectrum Of Humanity’s Essence
Ultimately, empathy serves as a bridge between people, allowing us to connect on a deeper level and gain a more nuanced understanding of the human experience.
By embracing this portal, we open ourselves to the full spectrum of human emotions and experiences, fostering compassion, promoting healing, and enriching our own lives in the process.
It’s important to know that while empathy allows us to understand and share the feelings of others, it is crucial not to internalize or carry their trauma as our own.
Maintaining healthy boundaries and practicing self-care are essential for those who engage in empathetic practices, ensuring that compassion does not turn into emotional burden or burnout.
Independent of external control or rule – Supreme rank, power, & authority.
God Reigns Sovereign Over All Things
He instills motion into movement and serves as the source and provider of the electricity that powers our hearts to beat and ignites our thoughts.
In times gone by, he establishes everything from the microscopic to the cosmic level.
As Scripture says,
“Our God is in the heavens; He does all that He pleases”
-Psalm 115:3 ESV
God, being a God of Order, orchestrates all things, including what may seem chaotic,to ultimately bring all of creation under His control.
He perfects eternity through the harmonious coexistence of both order and disorder, all in accordance with His divine design.
While disorder may seem chaotic to human understanding, God is in control, orchestrating all things for His perfect purposes. (His goodness signifies being completely aligned and within His rightful purpose)
As Jesus said,
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father”
-Matthew 10:29 ESV
In addition to determining all events, God reigns sovereign by sustaining all of creation moment by moment.
He is the source of both physical and spiritual life. Nothing can exist outside of God’s sovereign will.
Even those things that “appear” contrary to order, such as suffering or sin, are ultimately subject to God’s perfect ordering of reality.
As Paul wrote,
“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen”
-Romans 11:36 ESV
Through His sovereignty, God works all things together for good according to His eternal plan.
What humans see as disorder, God uses to accomplish His purposes of glorifying Himself and drawing His people nearer.
While His ways are higher than ours and not always understandable, we can trust in God’s good reign over all things, both order and disorder.
He perfects all creation for His glory and the good of those who love Him.
As it says in Ephesians 1:11 ESV,
“In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will.”
Here is one way to improve the additional text:
He works through the chain of events that He has ordained from eternity past.
His ultimate purpose is to put death to death so that eternal life may reign forever (1 Cor. 15:26).
God has set all things in motion according to His divine plan to conquer sin and death through Jesus Christ.
Material Cannot Exist Independent Of Spiritual
It is misguided to think that the physical realm is separate from or independent of the spiritual.
All of creation, both temporal and eternal, is subject to God’s Supremist power and providential rule according to His Mind’s Decision.
To deny His sovereignty over all things is to deny the very reason for His ordering of the universe and plan for humanity .
He’s purposed and ordained every action, both good and evil, from before the foundation of the world.
– Eph. 1:4,11
As the all-knowing and faithful Creator, God has established all things according to the counsel of His will.
– Is. 46:10
Since God cannot lie or fail in His purposes, we can be certain that He will accomplish His intended goal. He has given prophecies and promises that will surely come to pass .
-Num. 23:19
His eternal plan has already been written and will be perfectly fulfilled in His perfect timing.
-Rev. 17:17
His Word stands firm, and what He has spoken will come to pass without fail.
“SOVEREIGN” in the OLD TESTAMENT
The Hebrew word most commonly translated as “sovereign” or “sovereignty” when referring to God is “Adonai.”
This comes from a root word meaning “lord” or “master.”
Adonai conveys that God has supreme authority and power over all things.
Another important term is “elyon,” which means “Most High.”
Emphasizing God’s exalted status above all earthly rulers, powers and authorities.
As the Most High, he is Sovereign over the entire universe.
God is frequently called the “King of kings” in the Old Testament.
The Hebrew word for king is “melek,” which implies one who rules with absolute power and dominion.
As King, God exercises sovereign rule over all other human and spiritual rulers.
Passages like Psalm 47:2 describe God as the “great King above all gods.”
As the one true God, He is sovereignly in control of ALL, even the false pagan deities that people worshiped.
God’s sovereignty is also expressed through His attributes of omnipotence (unlimited power), omniscience (unlimited knowledge) and omnipresence (present everywhere).
All-powerful. All-knowing Ruler. Present everywhere. Sovereign over His entire created order.
“SOVEREIGN” in NEW TESTAMENT
The New Testament (or Covenant) was written in Koine Greek:
Kyrios – This is the most common Greek translation of the Hebrew “Adonai“.
Basileia – This refers to God’s “kingdom” or “kingly rule”. As Basileus (King), he exercises sovereign dominion and power.
Pantokratōr – Found in Revelation, this describes God as the “Almighty” or “All-Ruler“. He wields power and dominion over everything in creation.
Epouranios – God is referred to as the “heavenly one”. As the one whose dwelling is in heaven, he reigns sovereignly from on high over earthly authorities .
Theos – Simply calling God “God” underlines his unique deity, sovereignty and right to rule as the one true and living God above all else.
Acts 4:24 describes God as the creator who “made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them.”
As Creator, He sovereignly ordains and governs all things.
Romans 13:1 states that all human authorities have been instituted by God’s sovereign will and purpose. He is ultimately in control over the rise and fall of nations.
God is consistently portrayed as the sovereign Lord & King who rules from Heaven with Supreme power and authority over His entire creation by virtue of His Deity, creative act, and providential governance of all things.
He formed all things from His Minds Consciousness, through His Word, by His Holy Power, & for His purpose.
God is the God of order who puts all things in their proper place.
He reigns sovereign over both natural and spiritual realms.
We can trust in His good purposes to be fulfilled, even when from our limited perspective: His ways seem incomprehensible. Trust because…
He works all things together for the glory of His name and the good of His people.
Have you ever found yourself feeling confused or divided in your thoughts?
It’s easy to blame your confusion on the information you receive or the people around you for causing this confusion.
The responsibility does not lie with the individual who brought forth the preexisting confusion within your thoughts.
Proverbs 3:5 -“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
1 Corinthians 14:33 – “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”
The Truth of the Confusion
Confusion stems from within you, not external sources.
When you feel confused, and begin to get down on yourself with negative thoughts filled with self-hate… you must remember that discernment also resideswithin you.
Instead of pointing fingers at others for bringing out confusion in your mind, take a step back and reflect on what is truly causing the internal confusion.
The inner spirit that resides within you inextricably shapes the way your mind perceives and processes information and experiences.
1 Corinthians 2:11-12 – “For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.”
Psalm 51:10 – “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Acknowledge Self as Source of Confusion
By acknowledging the presence of confusion being within yourself and tapping into your innate discernment, you can navigate through challenging situations with clarity and understanding.
Next time you feel confused, remember that the power to discern lies within you.
Embrace this inner wisdom and let go of the habit of scapegoating external factors for your mental (spiritual) state.
True clarity comes from within, not from external sources.
“Most folks seek therapy for past or present-day issues that are typically relational in nature. This usually means you initially come to therapy from the perspective that either no one else is to blame (I’m not good enough, my parents were perfect, I’m a burden, etc.) or everyone else is to blame (he hurt me, she’s controlling, they are selfish, etc.). You might also hope that your therapist will agree with you. Of course! The quickest way out of discomfort is to find someone who will shore up your perspective. While that may relieve you of the immediate discomfort, in the long term, it does nothing for you because your nervous system remains perpetually in threat response, defending you from the world with shame or blame, entrenched in a cycle of victimhood.”
“For many, by realizing that you trusted others who ultimately betrayed you, it created a sense of self-doubt, reflection, and in some cases, guilt over decisions made. That in turn created a feeling of distrust in everyone, which is unhealthy. If you can’t trust in others and you can’t trust in yourself, that leaves quite a void. Rebuilding that trust in yourself and removing the self-doubt is the very thing that allows you to discern what and who to trust..”
In my heart resides a girl named Rainne who carries a great burden.
Rainne is prone to analyzing everything, even the smallest nuances in a person’s voice.
What ignited Rainne’s passion for scrutinizing everything? What is the foundation of her elaborate thought process? Whence does it all emanate?
I think I know…
At the core of her receptive mind, constantly striving to comprehend a chaotic world, lies a pivotal moment: her birth.
Maternal Influence
Beginning with the individual who holds the utmost significance in the life of each young girl, namely the mother (or female guardian/caretaker), for it is through this bond that her character and cognitive abilities are honed.
Growing up in a chaotic environment due to her mother’s mental health issues, Rainne’s mother lacked the necessary support to reach her full potential.
The scars of her past continued to impact her parenting style and choices, making it difficult for her to break free from the cycle of dysfunction.
Living in the suffocating grip of unhealed trauma, she made a conscious decision to suppress the fiery rebellion of her wounded inner child.
Instead, she chose to remain in the shadow of resentment and defiance towards her mother, whose ignorance and neglect had contributed to the pain that lingered deep within her.
The scars of her past were etched into her being, a constant reminder of the battles she fought alone, yearning for love, understanding, and healing that seemed perpetually out of reach.
Despite the weight of her struggles, she kept a hard head, sadly hardening her heart…
Without knowing it:
Her primary focus remained on guiding her children on how to evade their personal trauma, since teaching them anything different would oblige her to confront the truth mirrored in a looking glass, a reality she chose to elude, punish, and push into the depths of darkness.
Rainne’s mother was traumatized, leading her to resist anything that sought to tear down walls, dismantle barriers, or open the heart to vulnerability.
The refusal was meant to safeguard her self-worth, on which Rainne’s mother heavily relied, with arrogance and a sense of moral superiority keeping her defenses intact.
These identities were profoundly rooted in her existence in an effort to offset the ominous weight of the maternal, generational curse.
The cycle of generational curses continues through the family line, with very few individuals able to recognize and break the pattern.
That is why Rainne found it fitting to claim the title of masochist.
But to Rainne: Pain is significantly superior to confusion and chaos.
Personal Struggles and Empathy
That’s where Rainne truly comes into her own. Despite being burdened with these traumas, she courageously confronts her own pain and bravely shoulders her mother’s trauma, fully embracing the heaviness of it all.
Every horrifying narrative her mother relayed, every time the agony was gently dispersed into Rainne’s ears, her soul was deeply gashed, inserting within her the dread that was not hers to carry, lacking the tools to understand.
Rainne was akin to a sponge, a remarkable healer, she could sense herself soaking up her mother’s distress as she watched her mother’s anguish.
Experiencing it regularly decrease in her mother as it seeped into Rainne, deep within herself, her mother felt relief, yet unknowingly.
It was excruciating.
Rainne discovered tranquility in being the one suffering rather than watching her dear mother in unbearable agony.
Rainne was and knew she was a conduit of sorts and had been put into a position of learning how to heal, cope, practice self-control, and take ownership of hellish suffering.
Rainne was no professional, she was just a mere child… this profound psychological metamorphosis was in response to her mother’s inability and unaware void in teaching her skills to invoke resilience nor tools to process the big emotions and confusion.
Cognitive and Emotional Development
A person who is severely gaslit during their childhood brain formation inevitably learns to gaslight.
The small child who witnesses their caregiver’s extreme responses and anger will emulate this behavior, as they absorb and imitate the behaviors they witness while their young minds are still flexible and evolving.
That child doesn’t simply learn to overreact, but rather, they are deeply ingrained with the personality that becomes a fundamental aspect of their identity, as opposed to a conscious choice actively made.
Rainne’s meltdowns were like violent storms unleashing all at once, with screams so piercing they echoed through the house, and thrashing so wild it felt like she was a hurricane tearing everything in her path.
The intensity of her emotions seemed to consume her, leaving her trembling and drained when the storm finally passed.
It was as if she had no control over this inner turmoil that threatened to engulf her at any moment.
To this very day, the memory remains etched in her mind.
She yearned fiercely to break free from it, but a force within her always seized control, preventing her from thinking logically.
The concept of healthy coping techniques was foreign to her.
During periods of calm, she engaged in positive activities like crafting, singing, studying, and more.
However, the real challenge emerged during trying times when she encountered obstacles with no clear solutions, strategies, or guidance on how to navigate through them.
She had never witnessed anyone model healthy coping behavior, leaving her lost and without direction.
One cannot effectively teach coping skills if they have never been taught how to cope themselves.
Generational Trauma
So the generational way of dealing with issues, conflicts, and scuffles involves going to the extreme, hurling the harshest insults possible, and yearning for the other person to face harsh retribution for hurting our feelings, having to ensure they suffer, all their “deserved” guilt.
We use the logic of our stagnantly pent-up anger to react until a distraction comes about… only to then brush it all off as if it never occurred.
The resolution of all recurring, deep rooted problems was avoided since no solutions were easily within view, leading to the faulty strategy of persistent denial… the problem is disregarded, said to be “resolved“, so then hidden resentments would fester within a deflecting surface of self, maintaining a facade of “care” and compassion, concealing the inner turmoil…
Wounded souls we were yearning to break free from the self-imposed confinement, torn between conflicting thoughts, seeking distractions at every turn.
Early Awareness and Analysis of Adult Issues
Rainne knew adult issues from a young age.
Her parents would fight multiple times a week, they also drank which didn’t help.
Her young mind absorbed the complexities of their arguments like a sponge, dissecting each hurtful remark and dissecting the underlying emotions. An obsession it became, it was the only solid ground she could find strong enough to stand on, in her childish creativity.
It was as if she had a maturity far beyond her years, as she recognized the pain and misunderstandings that fueled their fights. The answers were ever before her, an 8 year old with no leverage.
While they simply brushed off the conflicts in the morning, she couldn’t shake the weight of their hate filed, damaging words and the lasting impact they had on each other.
It was a heavy burden for a child to bear, but she couldn’t help but feel responsible to bear it. Sure would have given her little life to bring peace and understanding to their fractured relationship, as she understood the fighting was not what it should have been.
They would talk and scream past the other, it would become something it isn’t.
They wouldn’t listen to one another, it would become a poop flinging contest.
Rainne’s knew the problem in grade school, but he parents couldn’t see it.
She knew what it was.
Despite her limited knowledge (because of her sheltered youth) of both herself and the world around her, Rainne acknowledged that to truly love, one must first comprehend oneself with purity and seek the others feelings without pretenses.
In a self denying mode of being, to preserve her own life and protect her family (her family was her life), she sacrificed her own identity, disowning her individuation and betraying her own future.
Naively believing she could salvage something meaningful in her parents marriage, in doing so she sought a dead end as her young mind remained steadfast in its misguided conviction.
The Quest for Order
In her psyche, she sought solutions that (by the creativity of her mind) made sense and seemed so perfect.
Her brain wasn’t set in the shadow; she wasn’t jaded by the rejection of her own inner child like her mother was. She had yet to know what a shadow was, but she was sure going into it.
The brokenness of her mother was so deep in denial of inadequacies, that any slight causing a negative emotion was reviled. So the root on which her family raised her rebuked authenticity, the very substance Rainne functioned, so secrecy became imperative to keep true to her self. Although stability and consistency were words foreign to Rainne, a spark within her Spirit thirsted for the key to attaining order and logic, a thirst to turn her family’s chaos into order, without knowing: the Philosopher’s Stone was the very thing she sought since grade school.
Her mind didn’t just linger in her mother’s shadows; she remained untouched by the contraction of the bitterness, yet turned to the natural rejection of her inner child, not like her mother was but almost.
The brokenness of her mother ran so deep that denial was the mode of familial operation… that any perceived criticism provoked an emotional response from the mother that bit like an angry viper and suffocated the air like a boa.
This balancing act was the foundation of Rainne’s upbringing.
Still, a yearning to convert her family’s disorder into harmony was the very object of her quest and became her demise, as well as her necessary dark night needed for a Salvation.
Paternal Influence
Her father was a latchkey kid who never grew up and lacked significant structure as a boy, so stability wasn’t instilled within him. He possessed a profound terror of perishing. Jew had a lot of love though, Rainne knew his love was true, as it was consistent, he was never cruel.
Rainne was nurtured and found comfort in him, in an environment suffused with fear. She was shown to tremble at the idea of death instead of embracing it, she would evade it.
She was brought up to dread the inescapable and to grasp onto fantasies and deceit. She knew this to be folly in her soul.
Rainne’s sophisticated cognitive process and critical disposition are strongly influenced by her childhood encounters with uncertainty, distress, and the intricate interpersonal relationships within her role models.
Rainne’s childhood was marked by the constant tension that lingered…
Her mother, haunted by past traumas, never fully addressed, existing in a perpetual state of anxiety and unrest.
In this environment of fear and unease, Rainne developed a heightened sense of vigilance and analytical processing.
She learned to diligently observe the world around her, deciphering underlying tensions and unspoken truths. Looking for patterns and breaks in patterns.
This skill became a vital tool for navigating her tumultuous and uncertain surroundings.
However, Rainne’s innate empathy and sensitivity added another layer to her complexity.
Despite the trauma and fear that surrounded her, she possessed a deep capacity for understanding and connecting with others.
This empathy allowed her to see beyond the surface, to recognize the pain and struggles that others experienced, even when they tried to mask them, even when they were mean to her.
Combining her keen analytical skills with her compassionate nature, Rainne became a master at unraveling the complexities of human emotions and motivations that are locked away in a person.
She sought to bring order to the chaos around her, to make sense of the contradictions and conflicts that seemed to define her world.
Rainne never lost sight of her ultimate goal: to create a sense of harmony and understanding in a world that often seemed tumultuous and unpredictable.
Her journey was one of constant self-discovery and growth, failure and lessons… as she learned to navigate the complexities of her own emotions and relationships while striving to bring a sense of peace and clarity to those around her.
Often chaos insued but awareness of the context within its faced at all face costs, she is still fighting for peace.
Spirit is a concept that encompasses various meanings and interpretations throughout the Bible.
From being described as Breath or wind to symbolizing the immortal soul of man, the concept of Spirit holds a significant place in understanding the nature of humanity and its connection to the Divine.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the divine presence of God. This is the Spirit dwelling within believers, guiding us in faith, and empowering us to live according to God’s will.
The Holy Spirit is the source of spiritual gifts, such as wisdom, knowledge, and faith, which enable believers to live a life that is pleasing to God.
Spirit is the vital principle in humans, the essence that distinguishes us from other creatures.
He is the rational, immortal soul that gives each individual their unique identity and purpose in life.
The separation of the soul from the body is a transition from earthly life to eternal life, where the soul will exist in a state of peace and harmony with God.
Spirit is not only limited to human beings but also extends to other spiritual beings, such as angels and demons.
Angels are messengers of God, sent to protect and guide believers in their spiritual journey.
On the other hand, demons are evil spirits that seek to tempt and deceive individuals, leading them away from God’s truth and love.
Metaphorically, spirit is also used to describe a tendency or inclination within individuals.
It represents the inner motivation or drive that influences one’s thoughts, actions, and decisions.
This inner spirit can be either good or evil, depending on the individual’s relationship with God and their commitment to living a Life of Faith and Righteousness.
The concept of Spirit in Christian Philosophy is a reflection of the divine nature of God & the Eternal soul of man.
It is a reminder of the spiritual dimension of human existence & the importance of nurturing one’s relationship with God through prayer, worship, and obedience to His Word.
By understanding the true meaning of Spirit, believers can experience a deeper connection with God and find fulfillment in their spiritual journey towards salvation and eternal life.
In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was fully God.
The Word was with God in the beginning.
All things were createdby him, & apart from him: NOT one thing was created that has been created.
In him was life, & the life was the light of mankind. & the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness did NOT comprehended it.
Delving into the realm of quantum physics unveils the intricate design of the universe, pointing towards a Creator who is both sovereign and holy, a concept described in the Bible.
This destroys materialistic perspectives. The term, Anomoly, loses all meaning when scientists choose to cover their metaphysical discoveries with a metaphorical “white out”.
As I sit here, keyboard in hand, I am reflecting on a feeling that has been haunting me for a while now.
This ominous cloud finally has revealed to me old memories that locked away from memory long ago.
The weight of the truth is pressing down on me. A sensation beyond anxiety, an urgent pull within my solar plexus, a glimmer of hope also.
If I’m brutally honest about my inadequacy, most of my life I lacked true substance and depth.
Yes, I knew and understood substantial things but the essence living within my vessel was a void soul, wandering.
I deluded myself into believing my depth was real, when in truth, it only existed as an abstract idea within my psyche.
For a considerable amount of time, I avoided facing this reflection, consumed by a counterfeit image perfected by the arrogance of my pride filled heart.
I boasted outwardly, eluding my own fears through a facade of confidence.
Inner Child; Age 5
At the mercy of a 5-year-old’s whims and emotional disregulatiom, I found myself behaving as such. Insecure Me, left behind long ago.
The little girl sought safety in my shadow, thinking she was protected, she was unwittingly confined.
She had many gifts and talents that were locked away with her in the dungeon of self abandonment and betrayal.
Her gifts from God were robbed by me, I thought it would be safer, I was a child.
Now she wants out. She’s angry. I’m angry.
She’s spearing a dagger through my heart, dividing bone from marrow as the facade I have spent decades building around myself is falling like a house of cards.
Hidden behind the mask of pretentious self-righteousness insecurities was my shadow, controlling me in every way, dictating every move.
The more I avoided this realization, the more control my shadow ultimately had.
I had denied the true essence of who I was, becoming a coward.
The inner child, who once radiated promise and possibility, has been stifled by my ego. She has been muted by my arrogance, deprived of her innocence and delight.
Now she cries out for freedom, for a chance to break away from the shackles that restrain.
I am torn between the person I have become and the person I know I was designed to be (within my DNA).
Torn between the safety of my familiar facade and the uncertainty of embracing my true self, as it will go against all my comfort.
The comfort of ignorant pride that I find myself in will be replaced by raw vulnerability so profound it is sure to impale my soul, stirring the stagnant waters, unearthing lost treasure and sewage once I jump fully into facing my insecurities head-on.
I know that I cannot continue to hide from my reflection, to avoid the truth that lies within me. Now I know, there’s no going back.
It requires courage, humility, and a strength that can only come from my Maker… to have the strength needed to face these darkest parts of my psyche.
To my inner child:
I promise to listen to you, to honor you, to let the light shine through you.
I will finally uncover the substance I have been thirsting for, the courage I have been missing, and the freedom my soul has been remembering, thanks to your (my) relentless character.
