The depths of her shattered soul
Lie fragments of a love untold.
Rejected, they lay abandoned, cold,
A tapestry of dreams that could not unfold.

Each piece a memory, etched in pain,
A heart’s longing, now in vain.
Whispered promises, once so dear,
Now a haunting echo, she cannot hear.

Her tears, like rivers, silently flow,
As she gathers the rejected, piece by piece, slow.
No matter how hard she tries to mend,
The fragments remain broken, unable to blend.

She walks through life, a ghostly shade,
Haunted by the love that could have been made.
In her eyes, a flicker of hope remains,
But deep inside, her heart forever stained.

Rejected fragments of her, scattered wide,
A mosaic of despair, she cannot hide.
For in the wreckage of her shattered heart,
She finds solace in the pieces torn apart.
