If you have faith in Christ, you were predestined by God before He even created creation itself. If not, God’s word isn’t true.
God’s will is Sovereign, our will is bound to sin, & isn’t free.
Got ordains ALL things, free will is the philosophy of Lucifer, although God ordains everything, it’s spirit can’t be God’s. God is a God of Order, not chaos. Lucifer hated being under YHWH’s sovereignty & desired to break away from God’s will & establish a will of his own, & establish a people of his own & many Christians follow in his steps, unknowingly, hence why Scripture says we are either a slave of sin or a slave of righteousness.
A spiritual slave has no sovereign will of their own.
WHO HE FOREKNEW, HE ALSO PREDESTINED to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover WHOM HE PREDESTINED, THESE HE ALSO CALLED; WHOM HE CALLED, THESE HE ALSO JUSTIFIED; AND WHOM HE JUSTIFIED, THESE HE ALSO GLORIFIED.
Romans 8:29

The words translated “PREDESTINED” in the Scriptures above are from the Greek word PROORIZO, which means; DETERMINING BEFOREHAND, ordaining, & deciding ahead of time.

WHAT IF GOD, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, ENDURED WITH MUCH LONGSUFFERING the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that HE MIGHT MAKE KNOWN THE RICHES OF HIS GLORY ON THE VESSELS OF MERCY, which
*HE HAD PREPARED BEFOREHAND FOR GLORY, EVEN US WHOM *HE CALLED,
not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? What shall we say then?
That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness….”
