The New Covenant: Richer Than Dreams & Visions

Mystery Revealed

The concept of mystery and revelation is a paradoxical one.

On one hand, a mystery is something that is unknown and beyond human comprehension.

On the other hand, revelation is the act of making something known or revealing it to someone.

If a mystery has been revealed to a person, it is no longer a mystery to them.

However, if one claims to have been revealed a mystery yet still finds it mysterious, they do not comprehend revelation.

They fail to comprehend the vision of spiritual disclosure.

A mystery is something that is not understood by the sole processes of the mind, so it is cloaked in mystery, in disguise. The contrast of that is a Revelation, which is total mind illumination.

When an individual is illuminated, they are no longer cloaked, and the mystery can no longer be mysterious to them.

This paradoxical disposition of mystery and revelation highlights the significance of the role of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who reveals the deep things of God to us and illuminates our minds.

Without the Holy Spirit, we would be unable to apprehend the existence of mysteries, let alone given the ability by God to discern the mystery; transmuting the mystery into a completely difdsfrmt form; revelation, disclosure, and exposed .

The paradox of mystery and revelation in spiritual discourse highlights the importance of the function of the Holy Spirit in illuminating our minds and revealing the dichotomy: revealing the profoundities of God: to us.

If a mystery has been revealed to us, it is no longer a mystery, and we must seek the guidance and illumination of the Holy Spirit to understand the mysteries of God.

THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD ARE REVEALED TO US BY HIS SPIRIT

The things that God has prepared for those who love Him is incomprehensible.
However, God has chosen to reveal these things to us through His Spirit.
The Holy Spirit has the ability to search all things, including the deep things of God.
Through the Spirit’s guidance, we can gain a deeper understanding of the mysteries of God and the blessings He has prepared for us.

As it is written,
No eye has Seen, nor Ear Heard,
not has entered into the heart of man:
the things which God has prepared
for those who Love Him.
… But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

– This verse emphasizes the importance of relying on the Holy Spirit for spiritual discernment and insight.

The secret (טוֹב)of the LORD is
with those who fear Him,
& He will show them His covenant.

Psalms 25:14

This transmits David’s conviction that the “secret” or the “advice” of the Lord is available to those who fear him.

The word “fear” in this context does not mean being afraid of God as we would fear a malevolent enemy, rather its having a deep reverence and respect for Him.

With deep respect for God, we can reach His wisdom and guidance. Cultivating a profound relationship with God based on faith, reverence and trust is the fork of the road, whereby the ability to apply the knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, acumen and guidance of The Holy Spirit. A guideline is internally outlined for us, in us, by Him.

The Counsel of God is the secret for those who fear Him, with fear and amazement.

The Mystery is Knowable

YHWH said, “Listen now to My Words. If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself Known to him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream..
Numbers 12:6

But… wait:

Not so, with My servant Moses,
He is faithful in all My household;
With him I speak mouth to mouth (directly),
Openly, and not in dark sayings (not shrouded in mystery as was prior to Chriat tearing the veil),
And he beholds the form of the Lord.
Why then were you not afraid
To speak against My servant, against Moses?”

So the anger of the Lord burned against them and He departed.
— Numbers 12:7-9

Are we not much more than Moses?
